Mark James has joined food machinery supplier Sparc Systems as General Manager.
Following the retirement of Sparc Managing Director David Buckley in June, Mark will be taking the helm, overseeing general sales and business improvements, with a focus on new markets.
Mark brings over 25 years’ experience to the role of GM, including successful tenures in global roles at Xerox, OCS Checkweighers and Yamato.
About his appointment, Mark said: “Sparc are at the forefront of food production technology and intelligent systems development and I am delighted to join the leadership team.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to Sparc’s important work in improving sustainability in the industry and introducing innovative products that build on this commitment.”
Educated at the University of the West of England in Digital Systems, Mark has a balance of technical and commercial expertise, specialising in implementing new processes for improved customer satisfaction.
His first task at Sparc will be to identify key industry challenges and to drive more technically integrated product solutions, with priority given to the manufacture of a new checkweigher.
