Sparc Systems hit the road with Haratek to showcase its latest machines
Last month, Sparc Systems hit the road with its distributor Haratek on a roadshow to 12 major food manufacturers in Spain.
The team that included Sparc Systems’ sales and commercial director Daniel Frank, sales manager Charlie Graham, and technical development engineer Andrew Capocci, travelled from Galicia in northwest Spain, to the south of the country and back to the Basque Country in northern Spain.
During the visits, the team met with production and quality assurance managers from manufacturers that specialise in serrano ham, cooked ham, poultry and fish. And, they showcased and installed either a Theia machine, which combines X-ray and checkweighing capabilities, or a Raptor system that features label inspection technology.
The machines give food manufacturers complete confidence that they comply with major retailers rules and regulations when it comes to food safety, a key consideration for export and domestic supply.
Within a few hours of the initial set-up of the machines, the food manufacturers were able to run live production.
Daniel said: “X-ray and label inspection are two of the fastest growing technologies in Spanish food manufacturing, and the combination of the two is very much in demand.
“Our roadshow, which was organised by Haratek, offered our overseas customers a great opportunity to learn how easy the machines are to install, setup, and run, to ensure they take full advantage of all of the machine’s technological features.
“And, it was greatly received, as our customers shared positive feedback about the quality and ease of use of the machines.
“We’d like to thank the Haratek team’s technicians for delivering the training to our customers, and look forward to future adventures with them. Watch this space!”
